BALLISTOL grinding oil

Ballistol grinding oil extends the life of the grindstone. A high cleaning performance is offered and thus the removal is increased. The steel and stone abrasion is bound and thus an even grinding movement is achieved. The application of the grinding oil reduces grinding noise, cools the cutting edge and prevents clogging of the stone. Ballistol grinding oil is perfect for both coarser grits for pre-grinding and for fine-grain whetstones such as Arkansas stone, Washita stone, Mississippi stone, etc.

The Ballistol grinding oil is food-safe, acid-free and odorless and tasteless. It also protects the sharpening stone from rust and does not gum up. It is neutral to painted surfaces, metal, wood, rubber and plastic. The oil is suitable for stainless or rust-resistant steel and brass is not attacked.

The grinding oil can be used on all grinding stone materials (including ceramic).

application

• Apply Ballistol grinding oil evenly for sharpening and distribute it with the blade.
• Sharpen your knife or blade on the whetstone as usual.
• After sanding, dab off the metal and oil residue with a microfiber cloth.
• Then clean the stone with some fresh grinding oil and wipe off excess oil.
